Marsden
Marsden is a large village at the head of the Colne valley, in West Yorkshire, England. It is about eight miles west of Huddersfield, and lies in the hilly moorland and pastures of the south Pennines.

Marsden HIstory Trails
Three leaflets with detailed maps showing trails through Marsden which throw light on how Marsden grew in response to historical developments from the 17th century onwards.

Marsden History Group
The group consists of any interested people, and has informal links with Leeds University. Most members are local, but anyone from anywhere in the world is welcome to join us. There is no fee or forms - just contact us by letter or email. Group meetings are at 7.30 in the Marsden Mechanics Institute meeting room on the second Monday of each month. All are welcome.
